If you're new to playing online poker, then you're probably thinking about the ways by which you can devise poker strategies. Before devising a poker strategy though, you must first be aware of the rules. Once you know the rules, you can play, observe, and then devise strategies based on your poker games. One of the ways by which you can improve your poker skills is to practice constantly. It would be good for you to concentrate on just one variant of poker so that you can master playing that variant. If you plan on playing different variants, then you must keep in mind that each variant requires a different strategy. It would be a good idea to observe your opponents by taking note of their betting patterns, reaction time, and strategies. This way, you can use your knowledge when you play against them the next time. Aside from that, these observations may serve you well when you play another game. By observing your opponents, you may even come up with a good poker strategy that can help you win your games.

Let me make this clear, this is New York, but this one is in Vegas, confusing? I am referring to that casino at the Strip that copies the skyline of NY. This New Poker room York is the New York-New York Hotel and Casino in Vegas. It has a novel facade, filled with a dozen NY-kind skyscrapers, cool huh? At this New Poker Room York, a good evening of dancing is promised at the Coyote Ugly, but if mature fun is what you want, go to the establishment's Zumanity. This casino-hotel's Spa offers a fitness facility, weights and others. The room: 350-square-foot, with a king-sized bed, a beautiful restroom and the shower combination. For those who are patrons of the MGM, this New Poker Room York is just across your favorite place, so it would not be too much of a bother to check it out (plus, it is so near the airport's premises).

Looking for a poker table for sale: there's Pokercats, a principal supplier, they offer not just tables but building materials too. The tables would be customized with colors wanted by the buyer.
If you are looking for a poker table for sale, there's Wood-N-Treasures, which supplies a total set of ready-made tables from different entities. The Stine Game table is another supplier of customized chairs and tables. Still not satisified with what I've mentioned so far- there's Cardroom Supply, and then there is BumperNets, offering tables, covers too, and the latter are of high-quality. We also have the Net retailers for these poker tables, that includes pokerlistings.com, which is not only well-known, but also recognized for their discounts. Brandsale.com is still another one, and if saving some money is priority for you, then try ozonebilliards.com, the tables they have are quite manageable. So there, want to locate a poker table for sale? All you need to do is look, they are all around us.

Razz is akin to the traditional 7-card Stud, but is often done as a limit kind of game. So, how to play Razz poker bet: everybody antes, is given 2 cards (facedown), and one other card shown. The last one is the door card, he who has the highest would put in the forced wager. This is usually 1/3 to 1/2 of regular wagers. There is a hierarchy of suits in this game, with spades as the strongest, followed by hearts, then diamonds and lastly, clubs. King of clubs is the worst doorcard in this game, that you should bear in mind. How to play Razz poker bet: remember this, after betting first round, everybody still in contention gets a card (exposed). Wagering would start with smallest hand showing, and action keeps on until the 5th card. At this juncture, the bet increments would go up by a hundred percent. Seventh card is given facedown, the move would commence with same person who opened the sixth card of the game. A bit of trivia folks: Razz was part of the WSOP since 1973, Sam Angel clinched the very first event for the sum of thirty-two thousand dollars, NOT a bad sum at that era.

Here is something I would like to ask you: in poker tourneys, you may have noticed that you were the chip leader many times, but then, you keep on losing. You (at least in theory) know what must be accomplished, but your chips keep on disappearing in front of you...frustrating isn't it? The food for thought: as a chip leader, when you concur to raise those blinds prior to the game, see it through. Remember also, as a chip leader, aggression is both focal and crucial. Still, it does not mean you would be aggressive with evrybody all the time, be selective. When you see Opponent X there with just about 3 or 4 chips left, it is very probable tht if you go all in, he would call, trust me on that. Also, not having those blinds raised for a number of times would dilute your strength as the chip leader of the group. Play heads up with dependable cards, and do not think that just because you are the chip leader, you would stay there forever even if you don't exert any efforts. Use your position to "kill" the little players, and I am not referring to the physique. Also, you need not fight for each pot, there might be times when it would be prudent to take a pass.

Whether actually good or not in the skills department, I firmly believe that somebody who became a millionaire via WSOP should be considered as among the top poker players, out of fame, if nothing else. Let me give you three of them, first is the controversial Jamie Gold. His 2006 win, went to the 12M dollar level, and he went down in the history books as one of the winners of one of the biggest sums of money. Here is the thing, I always believe that this is the kind of champion whom you would either hate (for that fiasco, you know that one) or love (if you are a fan). Regardless, it cannot be denied that he shows class when he won all that money. He was not overjoyed (well it's relative I guess) when he was declared as the WSOP champ in that particular year. Next is Jerry Yang, the champ of last year. This 39-year old social worker was born at Laos, and this guy is surely one of the top poker players in the world not just because he got a bracelet, but owing to this fact as well. Unlike other poker pros, he is one to give significant contributions to charities, kudos to him. Last guy from the ranks of the top poker players- Allen Cunningham. He-at present- holds no less than five WSOP bracelets. Last year, he got a bracelet via the PL Holdem.

Let me give instruction for new poker players, in the way of suggestions pertaining to the free money offers, of course, this is on the assumption that you are a neophyte in the online gambling scene. Gratis poker bankrolls are given in many Net rooms via the NoDeposit bonus. They are akin to regular incentives, it means you are forced to go through play requirements before encashing. For you to capitalize on the free money offers which these rooms give, when you are done with the opening of the account, hey-assuming you are of legal age- here is one caution. Do not claim the bonus more than ones, that would get you in trouble. Here is one more instruction for new poker players, there are rooms out there that do not ask for crdit cards, all one needs to do is give a copy of his/her ID, but check them out, for integrity and honesty that is. For so many online rooms, to qualify for gratis ND poker bonuses, you sign up. These sites have links which you could use, and don't forget the room's bonus codes, if you are intimidated by just thinking about the steps, do not. It's quite straighforward, just don't multi-task when doing them for the first time.

I remember a time when we went drinking in that hip downtown pub. There are all these decks of cards sprawled on the floor and chips, too, which gave us the impression that there has been a poker game in this place. So, the little drunken pigs (that's us during that time) agreed on having a, well, crazy game of poker. I don't really know much about poker. I just play poker over the Internet, but not the kinds that require real money. If I had done that, I would've gone bankrupt long ago. Rating my performance as a poker player, I can say I'm a fish, but just so as not to degrade myself so much, I'm perhaps one of the "shark" fishes. So, to cut the long story short, I was stripped off my bucks for that night and got banned from that pub for a month. At least I was able to play, "That Was A Crazy Game Of Poker," in front of the drunken revelry before we got kicked out. And up to this point, whenever I hear that song, I still get really embarassed. Anyway, "That Was A Crazy Game Of Poker" is at least cool to play with guitars. It's pretty fast on vocals, but the chords are so no sweat.

I've never been to a room with so many fish than Full Tilt Poker. Not only are there a good many players (averaging at 1,400 daily), these players are certified fishes! So, if you really intend to play poker to earn even just a few bucks, I suggest you go to Full Tilt Poker (www.fulltiltpoker.com)! Full Tilt Poker hosts various poker game variants such as the ever popular Texas Hold 'Em, Omaha, and Seven Card Stud series. You can also find there HORSE and RAZZ games. Full Tilt Poker also has a good many stakes that are very affordable, yet offers you really great value and rewards. Bonuses at Full Tilt Poker are also top ranking. However, you cannot find any casino games on the site. The primitive Macintosh download version is also cool. You can't imagine how such good quality can come from a computer software program that we thought is already passe or kind of out of stock. Full Tilt Poker also has Windows downloadablle game versions, but if your computer isn't a bit at par with the current trends in online gaming software, you don't have to sacrifice and yes, feel left out even if your system is just a Macintosh.

Oh my gosh! It's World Series of Poker season once more, and the fever and excitement is fast getting into my nerves. Good thing I live in the United States just a good few kilometers from where the venue at Las Vegas is, so traveling to and fro is not going to pose any problem. But, oh, tickets! Does the World Series of Poker event require enthusiasts to have tickets? My friends say yes, but one acquaintance tells me there's a promo via an online poker site that gives free passes to the World Series of Poker. Either way, I MUST get to that event! I fancy meeting, face to face, my all-time idol, Phil Helmuth, once again. And yes, I can still vividly remember how awestruck I got when the sultry Serinda of Absolute Poker fame sashayed into the glamorous poker hall. I'm actually crushing on her big time. There are times when I dream that I'll be going to the WSOP not just to meet my poker idols but to actually beat them at a hand! Sigh. Will that ever come true? Perhaps it won't. But just recently, I heard Norman Chad announcing via ESPN that the World Series of Poker has a school which trains WSOP wanna-be's. Doesn't that sound cool? What do you think? Should I enroll?

Most of the people who play poker are insanely funny people. But, however funny we poker players may seem, we have the hearts and brains (not to mention, uh, stomachs?) to give our fellow poker enthusiasts good gifts whenever there's an occasion. And, hey, who says you can only give gifts during Christmas? To this end, I can say that it's here that we poker players are lucky, because we always have stuff available which we can give away as gifts even if there isn't an occasion. So, why do we give gifts to each other, if there isn't a need to do so? Well, it's just to celebrate the fun of playing poker! Poker is an all-time favorite game, you can play it as long as you've got cards and chips and a pot, so I guess that gives us license to share gifts all year round. And, since we're innately funny, like I've mentioned, it's going to be cool if the gifts that will be given us or that we will receive have funny inscriptions on them, too! Let's take for example the funny poker gifts available at I Love My Nuts. They've got a real hilarious set of shirts, accessories, caps, and other wares. You know what makes those things funny? The I Love My Nuts man is actually enough to tickle you pink (omigosh, you're gay?). He's got those huge funny balls and a face that reminds me of Popeye. Enough of all this childish sense.
